Ban on New Year’s Eve Parties
Bermudapolice.com wishes to remind everyone of the social distancing rules and that New Year’s Eve parties are subject to these regulations and there must be no more. We respectfully ask that you refrain form such celebrations, for about 12 months.
In the meantime, the constabulary is investigating reports of people having fun on the island at one such gathering and are appealing for information about the event – the time is now said to be known by detectives after undertaking diligent research. Anyone with information that could help the inquiry should contact police at 211 or 295-0011. Similarly, if you have knowledge of any other events, possibly children’s parties or those involving government ministers feel free to have a chat with an officer.
