2024 Road Fatalities

With speed limits rarely exceeding 25mph at this rate the country is set to become one of the deadliest places to drive in the world!

1.  07/01/2024 Jeremiah Phillips (aged 17), on Verdmont Road, just south of the junction with Verdmont Valley Drive, Smith’s, whilst riding a motorcycle read more here about the ‘mishap’.
2. 12/04/2024 Marvin Johnson (aged 64),  a pedestrian. A car travelling along Long Bay Lane Sandys, made a left hand turn onto Nursery Lane and collided with him.  He was pronounced dead 03/06/2024, the matter reported in 07/2024 – read more here.
3. 25/04/2024 Rhyn Bearden (aged 23) the motorcycle he was riding collided with a truck and a wall – read more here.
