‘The Paradise Papers reveal something of interest to every reader’*.  The names associated with the Paradise Papers are available to download You can download a raw copy of the database – click here.** A cursory examination revealed the following names:

  1. Michael DeSilva – database node id: 80056439.   Coincidentally (?) this is the name of Bermuda’s Commissioner of Police since 2009.
  2. Sean Thomas Field-Lament – database node id: 80065162. Coincidentally (?) this is the name of the Bermuda police head of the Drug and Financial Crime Units.

Many people and entities have the same or similar names.

However, if the parties named above are senior police officers, have they disclosed their interest and does there exist a conflict?
